Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Community, Agility, Excellence, and Cowboy Grit

As we look back on 2024, it’s clear that Secure-Rite is about so much more than providing storage solutions—we’re a company built on community, agility, excellence, and a healthy dose of cowboy grit. Thanks to our incredible customers, team members, and local partners, we’ve been able to extend our hands (and our containers!) in ways that truly make a difference. Here’s a snapshot of some of the milestones we shared together.

Making a Difference in Our Communities

In 2024, we discovered just how much can be accomplished when neighbors unite around a common goal. Here’s a glimpse of the impact we created together:

• Cram the Can
  One 20-foot container, filled to the brim with food supplies for families in need. Teaming up with the Central Okanagan Foodbank, we helped ensure that neighbors who were struggling didn’t go hungry—and in the process, saw firsthand how simple acts can spark powerful change.

• Golf Tournaments & Heli Ball Drop
  We jumped onto the greens and into the excitement of helicopter flyovers to help raise funds for the Central Okanagan Foodbank, YMCA Strong Kids Foundation, KGM, SICA, and more. Whether it was cheering on golfers or witnessing golf balls drop from the sky, being part of these events reminded us that every swing and every sponsorship can push a cause closer to its goal.

• Meet Me on Bernard & Rock the Lake
  When festival organizers and city partners needed an extra hand—from setting up a kiosk and bike valet to meeting last-minute logistical needs—we were there. If it meant a better experience for attendees, count us in. These events showcased the vibrancy of our local culture and our commitment to helping the show go on, no matter what curveballs came our way.

• Support for Sports Teams & Clubs
  From the Falcons Baseball Team to local soccer and dirt bike clubs, or family stampedes we’re all in for helping athletes shine. By providing discounted containers and sponsorships, we let coaches and players focus on what matters most—team spirit, skill, and a whole lot of fun on the field.

• Lucas Griffin’s Podcasts and Interviews
  When our President took the mic on shows like The MBA Way and Better the Pond, the conversation went beyond spreadsheets and growth graphs. Instead, he spoke about the genuine drive to give back—how a small startup idea grew into something that powers philanthropy, creativity, and community connections.
• Internal Events & BBQs
  Sometimes the biggest impact starts with a grill and a friendly chat. Our customer appreciation BBQs brought together neighbors and colleagues over good food and even better company. It was a reminder that warmth and connection build the strongest foundations—no matter the zip code.

Gratitude for Our Customers, Community, and Team

Looking back on 2024, we’re humbled by the outpouring of support that made every initiative possible. Our customers trusted us to be part of their journey—whether storing their valuables or helping local causes. Our community partners opened doors for us to contribute in meaningful ways. And our incredible team took on every challenge with energy, heart, and a willingness to jump in, rain or shine.
